The day that I found out I was having a little girl was the day that I got excited about dance class. There is just nothing sweeter than seeing a little girl dressed up in a pink leotard and ballet shoes. Taking London to her first dance class was beyond exciting. She had so much fun and looked so cute. I couldn't wait to scrapbook this story.
I used October's "that one day" kit on this layout. It has so many great papers and embellishments, so everything came together pretty quick.
The first thing I did was pick what papers I wanted to layer behind my photo. Of course I went with the pink and white stripe, but I also picked a white with black triangle pattern, and a yellow and white stripe. I really like the way all three of these paper look together.
Next I worked on an embellishment cluster that I put to the left of my photo. Felicity Jane kits always have the best florals, and this months is one of my favorites. I love how girly it makes this layout.
For my title I went back and forth between the gold letters that came in this months kit or the black ones that came in last months kit. I obviously chose the black, but I think either one of them would have looked great.
I added a couple branding strips, and some more of the cute pink paper down the left side of my of my layout. I finished this layout by adding a little journaling just to the right of my photo.
You can see how this whole layout came together in the video below.
