One of the first things I do when I get my Felicity Jane kit in the mail is check out the sheet of cut apart cards. This month's "Susie" kit had some really cute ones and I couldn't wait to make a pocket page spread with them.
Here is a look at my week 2:
I am loving all the pink in this kit. Super girly and fun!!
As a side note, I might be regretting adding that silly selfie of me in those floral glasses. I am always on the hunt to find my mom some great reading glasses and I snapped this photo to send to her. I ended up not getting her this pair and I think I am regretting that as well!!
I mostly embellished my spread using pieces from the cut apart sheet. They are perfect to use on pocket page spreads because they are really flat.. and super cute!!
My favorite card this week is probably the one with all those plus signs on it. To make it a little more special, I added a vellum heart from the kit and stitched a few lines through it with my sewing machine.
This months stamp set is so cute. It is full of phrases that will work for a ton of different stories. I was also super excited to see that my One Little Word® for this year was one of those words. I found my self reaching for these stamps over and over again as I worked on my spread.
I had so much fun working with this kit. If you want to see how everything came together, check out my process video below.
