Hi everyone, Ulli here and I have a new 12x12 layout with the gorgeous Ivy Christmas collection for you. Here you can see the full page.
And so it came together:
First I added the black and white picture on white Essentials White Cardstock to get a white thin frame. Then I added the cute "Magic" Ivy Designer Tab and then a mini wide paper clip in mint on the picture. I cut a strip of the Ivy "Scallops & Gingham" paper to 5 inch height and fussy cut the scallops on the border on the bottom. I glued it on the top of my 12x12 White Essentials Cardstock. I used a star stencil and white structure paste and added the stars on the background of my layout.
When it was dry I began to work with clustering the picture. There I´ve used the wonderful Ivy Library Pockets and the red gingham Ivy journaling card to make hidden journaling. I wrote my journaling by hand on the back and added the date with the FJ Roller Date Stamp on the top. Then I´ve punched two holes into the top of the journaling card and set two white eyelets there. I added a white string with the Krystal Charm "Home" and made a knot on the string so its easy to switch it out of the pocket and to read the journaling.
I glued the pocket on the page and added the doily from the Ivy Paper Pack on the page too. Then I added the picture with 3D dots over the pocket and the doily. I added a pink FJ bow on the right side and on the left side a chipboard bit of the Ivy collection. Then I fussy cut the winter roses and the houses of these Ivy papers: "Floral & Cypress" and "Cottage & Snow". I added the winter roses around and under the picture and glued them to the bottom of the layout.
Then I added the houses on the left side of the bottom and stamped with black ink "´tis the season" with the Ivy stamp set over the houses.
I added more Chipboard Bits here and there and also glued the cute Chipboard Star Sticker of the Ivy collection on my picture and on the top of the little chipboard tree on the left side of the photo. I also splattered black ink across the page. To finish off my page I added the cute Ivy Epoxy Dots in baby blue, green, red and pinkish here and there. I always love the playful look when I use the epoxy dots.
