Fantastic Mr. Fox | Elsie Robinson

I don't know about you, but I have been absolutely loving the warm orange tones in this month's Maggie kit.

It probably has something to do with the fact that Autumn is my favourite season, and this kit's beautiful colour palette reminds me of those gorgeous Autumn leaves we'll soon see on the trees. 

With the change of weather in the UK (and my bunny slippers making a permanent return to my feet) I've really had the urge to get a little more cosy and create an Autumn-inspired layout. 

As soon as I saw the Fox cut file in the Felicity Jane Silhouette Store, I knew this kit would be its perfect match.

I often use quotes from films, songs or books as my titles. This quote from Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl, for obvious reasons, worked really rather well on this layout!

Using foam to "pop" elements off the page not only adds dimension, but also allows me to layer those fussy-cut flowers over one another. This adds depth and creates a bit of scale, which helps the eye focus on the photo/fox!

The wood veneer in this month's kit, add the perfect "earthy" touch. The scallop borders fit perfectly underneath a 4"x6" photo - score!

Just when you thought the fox couldn't get any cuter... Add one of the bows from the silicone charms pack and you'll find yourself, and anyone who looks at the layout, saying "aww"!
