Good Morning, Good Morning all you wonderful people!! I'm here today to show you a fun layout using a technique I've never used before!
So I had seen layouts like this before and I had previously tried to make one but failed miserably! I decided it was time to have another go at it and as you can see this time around was much more successful!
Here's the trick to getting those perfect triangles! First, select your four papers, then cut each one to 6x12. Using a ruler make a tiny dot at the 6in mark on the long edge of the paper. Then using a paper cutter, line up the mark, and the very corner of your paper and cut! It worked perfect every time! Oh another helpful tip, is that you can leave two of your papers as a 6x12 and just lay your triangles on top and it looks just perfect!
So typically as a scrapbooker, I tend to savor my products, and make them last a long time, so I really surprised myself when I used so much of this washi on one page! It was a little nerve wracking but in the end I'm really glad I took the risk and went for it!!
After adding my picture on top of the washi, and then adding a few stickers, and embellishments around the washi, I was happy with my finished product!
And there you have it! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
