One of the things I love about the Felicity Jane kits are how pretty they are. The florals can't be beat and I love it. Today I wanted to share a monochromatic layout with you and I think it's a good example of how to take a really feminine kit and change up the look of it.
I focused on the green and aqua for a little St. Patrick's Day layout. I think the trick to doing monochromatic is to use a variety of shades and add in neutrals.
I stamped the cute little trio of dots in my areas of embellishment with gold ink. Those little dots are so versatile! I can see myself using them again and again. I added some gold ink splatters in with them too.
I created my title with the new FJ Alphabet stickers in black - I need about 30 more packages of those! If you want to see the whole thing come together, watch the process video below.
I hope you can see that even though these kits look pretty girly at first (a total plus, in my book!), they are super versatile. Have fun crafting!
