Hi FJ fans,
I hope you are all having fun creating with the beautiful Madison. I just can't get enough of it. The proof: I have created three pages for your inspiration today! Let's start with the layout.
When seeing the beautiful flowers I started thinking about pictures I have that needed documenting. And I remembered that I still have this beautiful memory of our youngest daughter's first 12 months. This time (being a scrapbook addict) I made a big effort to take a photo every single month. It was hard work (especially towards the end when she just wouldn't lay still) but so worth it! Because of the number of the photos I was kind of limited with the space but I knew I would go for a big title again.
First I sketched the title, then I used my little craft knife to cut it. I fell in love with the woodgrain design and found it to be just perfect for backing up the title. I also went for a 3D effect by glueing the layout onto a big piece of moosgummi.
To use the flowers I fussy cut some and made a flower border at the top of the layout. I also used a few flowers to decorate the photos but not too many. The layout is already pretty busy. As for the name I used the Megan alphabet stickers (I love that cursiva font!) and each photo has a number from the Madison kit. This puffy alphabet is just so cute and tiny, perfect for smaller projects and great details.
Onto the pocket pages.
Last year I went for an experiment of trying to create big layouts with lots of journaling and photos. I really enjoy this kind of project. It can be difficult to compose the pictures around but a big advantage I find is that you don't need to think ahead too much about how you are going to arrange the photos in the pockets. And also, you don't need journaling cards, just pretty embellishments and alphabet.
I love making clusters! And the puffy phrases!
And the embossed tags are just so universal!
The next page documents the second part of our trip and it is a traditional pocket page. A few journaling cards, washi tape and a tiny alphabet.
Thank you for being here with me today. Enjoy your weekend and hey, release day is just round the corner, yay!!!

Wow, I love your layout. I can not believe that you managed to take 12 pictures of your child. Unfortunately I failed. Had this also in mind, but she is so quick and always moves. I gave up.
The layout is really great!
