Hey Y'all! Happy Friday :) Today I have a super simple and floral filled pocket page spread. I may or may not have planned my daughter's outfit to match the Chloe papers...but who wouldn't right? Here is how it came together...
One thing I did to keep simplicity and repetition in this spread was to use hearts and simply adhere them with my mini stapler. I took advantage of the hexagons as holding places for little weight and height stats. Also if you look closely I stamped "fabulous" in the pink hexagon on the left to even out the text on that card.
I so loved using the "white space" of the photo in the top left pocket to put her age spelled out in FLORALS (happy dance). Just LOVING those letters.
On the right side, I used the "These Days:" journaling card to do the main part of my story. I had fun incorporating the stamp "grow" and added an "ing" on my typewriter to customize it for my needs. Granted, at the end of my typing the typewriter, (or, ahem, me) got a bit excited and there was a mess up of wobbly letters. So you know what I did? I just embraced the imperfection and fixed what I could with a gel pen. I then filled in the top of the "g" and "o" in Grow to customize the stamp even further. It's not perfect, but that is perfectly okay with me!;)
