Memories Mini Album | Alexes Marie Brown

Good Morning my friends! I hope you can all find yourselves doing well this day!

Today is all about different tips and tricks that I used to make one of my very favorite things, Mini Albums! They're seriously my favorite type of project to make and over the years, I've learned lots and today I'm going to share a few of the tricks up my sleeve!

One of the first things I want to talk about is filling pages with sequins, I feel like it's one of the best ways to add a little pizazz to an album. There's something about the transparency of the pages that I'm just in love with!

Another one of the things I like to do to make my album come together quickly is to have simplicity when adding embellishments. I love the look of that floating ampersand sticker! This little page literally took about a minute to make. I stuck in a cute photo of my little girl, added some sequins to one pocket, stuck a sticker on a other and then stapled a piece of ephemera on the other!

Being a mother to three and one on the way, time is one of the most valuable things in my life. I need to be able to still be able to do what I love in an efficient way. That's why I'm such a sucker for these beautiful but simplistic albums! You can see here that I took a large piece of ephemera and just punched a hole in the corner and popped it right into my album! I love the messy way it looks!

That floral paper!!! I just die over it! Isn't it the best?

Adding that cute little bunny onto that piece of patterned paper was another quick and simple way to make a page and still have it be gorgeous! I used the same set up with this little pocket page. Picture, sequins, ephemera and I'm just so happy with the way it looks!

Another little trick is that you don't always have to put things into page protectors, this tag that's decorated with a few phrase stickers give my album a little bit of diversity and texture.

The last tip I've got for you all today is what I have found to be the best way to add thick embellishments. Instead of putting them inside of the page protector, I just stick it right on top! I also love the way the embellishment look when they're not under a sheet of plastic, more vibrant and you can see a lot more detail!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you can use some of the tips and trick with your next mini album so you can have a gorgeous end result without a lot of time or effort invested!

This is fab. I’ve recently won a new 4×4 mini album and have been looking for ideas. This post has given me plenty. Thanks for the inspiration ?
