I've been inspired recently by shots of people's work areas on Instagram... look out for them: they're always white with a few pretty items that really pop beautifully. Apart from making me want to take more care with my photos, I really wanted to make a layout that had a similar 'just thrown down' feel.
These gorgeously colourful images are from A Beautiful Mess and Studio Calico... my layout ends up having a lot more white space, but the same bright hits of colour.
I decided to print out truths about myself onto some vellum... they're all things I struggle to believe are true (perhaps apart from the 'daft' bit), so it was quite good to force myself to get them down there on the page!
Each month I struggle to work out what to choose for my pages as it's all so beautiful, but this 'Just be You' journalling card was a must. What a great message, eh?
Puffy stickers! Just how cute are these little fellas?
I attached my title to the page with a metal ring... I'm not sure why! It was one of those ideas that I had, then couldn't shake. I love the result, but it doesn't fit in a page protector very well, ha ha!
Thanks for joining me today, guys.

Thank you, sweet Leslie! xx
Oh! the metal ring to attach the word – genius.
And could a “Note to Self” be on anything but the notebook paper?
I love that you’ve recorded affirming truths about yourself that you want to be reminded of.
Be blessed!
