Pumpkin & Cream Dessert

You guys... this pumpkin & cream dessert is delicious. Assembled in a jar with a gingham bow and wooden utensil is a great way to display single servings at a party or to give as a fall gift. Yummm!

As promised on instagram, here is the recipe :)

Pumpkin Bread  |

3 c. sugar
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cinnamon
1 to 2 t. cloves
½ t. salt
Combine above then add:
1 c. oil
1 c. canned pumpkin
4 eggs
2/3 c. water
Mix and then add:
3 c. flour
2 t. soda
1 c. chopped pecans [optional]
1 c. choc. Chips [optional]

Pour into loaf pans and bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes depending on how well done you like it.

Let bread cool completely.

Cream |

1 pkg. softened cream cheese
1 small jar marshmallow cream
1/8 t. orange extract

Combine ingredients in bowl and mix well using hand mixer.

To assemble |

Cut bread into 1" slices, and using mason jar as a guide, cut out small circles. Layer the bread and cream mixture in the jar. This is pretty sweet, so I added semi sweet chocolate chips to the top.

Chill in refrigerator before serving.

Both of these recipes are also great on their own, the cream makes for a delicious dip for fruit. :)

Enjoy!
