"1927 Pages" Scrapbook Layout | Eva Pizarro

Hello everyone, it's Eva on the blog today sharing a new layout with the Margot Kit.

For this layout I decided to focus on the Vellum Numbers. Aren't they cute? I love how big they are and that they are made from a see trough material.

I documented my son's love for reading, he is only 7 years old, but has already read 1927 pages of the Harry Potter Saga, I had to scrapbook that achievement!

I started my layout by adding some strips of paper to the bottom and the top of the page. The strips are diagonal and I think that gives the layout a nice movement.

Next, I decided to embellish the top left and the bottom right of my page. I used some die cuts and a small white clip.

In the center of my layout I created a base with two Library Pockets. They are made from thick cardstock so they add a nice depth and texture to the layout. I fussy cut some flowers from that gorgeous floral paper in the Margot kit and used them to create a small frame on top and on the bottom of the pockets.

For my title, I used the vellum numbers and the Chipboard Alphabet. I think those alphas are the cutest, I love the color combination and the washi tape look.

Finally, I added my picture, wrote the journaling on some 3x4 inch cards, and put them inside the library pockets. This is perfect for when you want to add a lot of journaling but you don't have the space.

I hope you liked this project. Margot is my favorite collection so far! Thanks for joining me today.
