Hello there again, my amazing crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a little peek inside my TN notebook. I got to play with the amazing Coco collection, and I’m in crafty heaven. I can’t wait for all of you to have it in your hands.
For this spread I knew that I would be focusing heavily on the patterned papers in the Coco collection. Every time I sit down at my desk I can’t help but stare at them, especially that floral paper. I couldn’t wait to start working with all those patterns and sticking them down in my traveler’s notebook.
I kept my spread pretty simple, so that those fussy-cut florals did all the talking on both pages. My right side was reserved for my title and my photo, so I knew I could build up the left side with patterned papers.
I added in a scrap of paper on the left side in that pretty blue color; I then stitched around the edges to create some extra character. This is of course a signature of mine, and I can’t live without it. I layered some of the paint chips that come in the paper pack. That mustard color just tied in my entire color scheme for this spread.
I finished up my right side by popping up my photo, on top of a doily and a journaling card. I then stitched on a die-cut tab to add a little something more to the edge of my photo. All that was left was to stick on my title. I chose some of the Coco Black Puffy Alpha Stickers and one of the Jumbo Die-Cut Alphas to really fill out the top of the spread. I finished it all off with a little black paint splatter to highlight my black title.
I hope you guys leave today inspired to get out your paper packs and cut to your heart’s content. Just wait till you see these stunning Coco papers; You’ll never stop ogling them!
