Hey everyone,
Anne on the blog today. I have a very full, messy layout for you this time. But it's still so easy to make. Let's have a look.
I love the tissue paper, that holds every kit. I often use it for my layering. For this page I wanted to highlight it a little bit more. I ripped a strip of the paper and glued it down on my page. Just put it on the glue. No thinking. I love all the crinkles, the dimension and the little sweet sound when you hold the layout in your hands. Then I started to staple my bits and pieces onto my background.
I wanted to document some of my thoughts about my job this year. 2019 brings a big change for me, because I will finish (finally!) my academic studies and I will start working. Being a doctor was and is my dream job. There was no time in my life, where I wanted to do something else. So it's a big thing for me and the start of a great new adventure. Especially since I love trauma surgery the most and thinking about starting to work there for a short or longer time.
I used a picture of myself at work. I clipped it onto a journaling card and layered some labels under it. '2019' and 'worth it' is one part of my title. The other part is on a label on the top '?!'. You can't imagine how excited I am to start working.
I created different envelopes to hold some photos and journaling. The first envelope is folded from a piece of paper. The second is made with a piece of vellum. Just cut a strip of vellum or paper the size you need, fold it in half and then add glue to the edge surfaces to stick them together - making sure the fold is at the bottom. Once you have glued everything together, punch a half circle out at the top and it's done. It's super easy to create those tiny cuties.
I used the stamps to create some extra embellishments. I stamped the circle 'focus on the good' and cut it out, before I added it to my cluster. I used the heart stamp to heat emboss a folded circle for the envelope. Nothing complicated, but all the little details help to document and highlight my story.
Another little detail: with one of the packages I made an easy shaker pocket and put it under my photo.
I finished my layout with paper strips and a date label on the left side and some puffy hearts.
