Pocket Page | Carol Chastain

I am super excited to share with you a pocket page spread using the September Feels Like Home kit.

I used mostly the 3x4 cut apart sheet for my journaling cards and added in a bit of stamping and some smaller embellishments to pull it all together. I like to keep my pocket pages on the simpler side and save the elaborating for things like layouts and mini albums.

The colors of this kit are the perfect blend of Summer transitioning to Fall and that was primarily why I chose them to tell stories from our week of August into September.

One thing I always like to include in pocket page spreads are some facts. This particular week I included the places we went, using the "always an adventure" stamp. It already had a slight curve to it and I was able to mount it on my acrylic block rounding it a bit more to go with the circle. This adds a more personalized look to the card.

I can't wait to see how everyone else uses the 3x4 cut apart paper in this months kit!

Carol… this is adorable! I really liked the way you used the stamps.. It really feels like you took great pictures of everyday life. I sometimes get stuck on just taking pictures of my little London! I love the picture of your boys in front of that brick wall… so cute!
