September Notebooks | Becky Homick

When I first saw the "Feels Like Home" Kit I instantly knew that I wanted to make notebooks for my travelers notebook. If you haven't heard of travelers notebooks they are a new craze in the planner world. Basically, you have one fabric or leather cover with elastics inside that can hold multiple small notebooks. Each one is designated to a different category. For example, one for a planner, one for taking notes, etc.

Even if you don't have a traditional travelers notebook it is still handy to have a cute notebook in your purse for grocery lists and notes. These are so easy to make. I just found a simple notebook at a big box store and used permanent tape runner to add a piece of the beautiful Felicity Jane paper around the cover. Then embellish! Easy peasy!

I then used the label cut apart pieces as well as the "always an adventure stamp" to label one of my notebooks. The "noted" label is from the special subscriber printable that was emailed this month.

Here's a peek inside my favorite notebook that I use for journaling.

I am completely obsessed with the pattern papers in this month's kit so I knew I wanted to make a page featuring all of the papers together.Of course since the kit's called "Feels Like Home" I had to journal about my home. Attaching washi tape to the top of a photo and journaling underneath is an easy way to hide writing and keep your pages looking neat and clean.

The alpha stickers are perfect for making a graphic title page and the little puffy house stickers are just too cute!

Your pages are so “clean looking”, as you said. I love the idea of putting the journaling beneath your photos. I am using the September Felicity Jane kit to make a tn engagement book from our surprise trip to Fredericksburg, Texas. You have given me the second “kick start” that I needed. Beautiful-thank you, Becky!
