"Crop Fun" Layout | Evelyn Wolff

Hi Felicity Jane fans! It's Evelyn on the blog today and I am beyond thrilled to show you my first project with this months "Feels Like Home" kit.

I always want to make my friends feel like home when they are staying with me. So I immediately knew that with this beautiful kit I wanted to scrap this photo from one of our last crops. This day was very special to me - we had a lot fun and laughter, we were creative and just happy together.

I love all the different patterned papers! They compliment each other so well. I wanted to create a soft and warm look with the different papers and I really like to have a good grid on my layout. So I cut out pieces of the papers and put them together on the cardstock and I layered my b/w photo with the dark wood paper and I really like how that turned out.

Adding the embellishments was a tough decision because they are all so beautiful. Have you already used the gold thread that came in the kit? When I decided to use one of the cute flair badges I knew I wanted to have the gold thread around it. And I especially love it together with the floral paper which is my absolute favorite.
