Pocket Page | Banning Lane

This months kit has a lot of references to family and relationships. I wanted to take advantage of that and make a cover page for one of my albums. I love how it turned out.

I only had four pockets to work with, and so many great 3x4 card options. My goal was to create a nice balance of color and pattern throughout my spread. With this kit, it was easy to do.

I love using stamps to customize my cards and make them my own. The "we are family" is from the stamp set that comes with the kit each month.

This card that has a 1, 2, and 3 on it was perfect since I have 3 people in my family. The green stripes originally stretched across the whole card. I have a hard time journaling on colored paper, so I just cut off the numbers and attached them to a plain white card.

The "we are family" is one of the stamps that is included in this kit.

I decided to use a few of the puffy stickers on several of the cards. I like the way it helps to tie everything together. As a finishing touch, I stitched on a couple of the cards with my sewing machine. I like the texture that the thread adds.

This spread came together really quick, and it was so much fun to work on. If you want to see how it all came together, check out the process video below

Very cute layout that tells a story of your family.

Love this! Your kitty is so pretty and the little banner you made with the puffy triangles is adorable!

Oh I love this so much! But I’m wondering how easy it will be to get my Mr Paws to pose like that exactly where I want him to…
