Happy Monday friends! This month, fall is in full swing, and with its arrival also came the arrival of my baby girl. The starting point for this layout came from the brush script quote on the cut apart paper. When I read those words I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use- a selfie I took during our first moments together. Just holding her and smelling her head made me realize just how blessed I am to have her. Right now, the best days are the ones I spend with her.
I don't know if I can say how much I love these patterns together (without saying the word "love" a million times). Instead of cutting smaller strips and gluing them I took the easier route and folded the papers over slightly. Doing it this way adds more dimension and texture to the page.
Because I had already incorporated the quote and used multiple patterns, using the tag to hide my journaling was a good way to keep the page from appearing too busy. I tucked it into that black polka dotted bag (used as packaging in this month's kit). Repurposing for the win!
Can't wait to see how everyone is using the patterns this month!
