Hello, Everyone!
Today I'd like to share a page out of my 2019 Family Album with you, where I used the gorgeous Jaimee kit to document a recent trip to Santa Barbara.
Before I jump in, I want to point out a little mistake I made in stamping out "January" on the photo in the top left corner. This trip actually took place in February, but my brain was apparently still stuck in January! I think we can all agree, though, that these scripty month stamps are just super gorgeous no matter what word is being stamped out, am I right? :)
One of my favorite elements on this page is the vellum pocket that I adhered to one of the left pocket page slots. That extra little pocket allowed me to use one of the beautiful journaling cards on the outside and also tuck a room key with our hotel information and some hidden journaling on the inside.
The fresh colors of the Jaimee kit were so perfect for documenting this coastal trip so I wanted to be sure to get some of the bright colors onto my page. I used some of the journaling cards and die cut pieces to add little pops of color here and there.
I finished off this page with some typed journaling on one of the cards and called my layout done!
If you'd like to get a more detailed look at how this page came together, check out the video below!
