6x8 Layout | Love Always | Lindsey Lanning

Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Today I’m sharing a 6x8 scrapbook layout using the beautiful Jill Kit from Felicity Jane. You can checkout the full process video to see how this layout came together!

I’m still trying to figure out how to add #allthethings to a page without overwhelming the 6x8 size. For this page, I started out with one of the black and white papers from the Jill | Paper Pack and printed my photo in black and white, that way I could have fun adding in pops of pink, yellow, green. The Jill | Stamp Set has some beautiful floral images that I stamped, heat embossed, watercolored, and then fussy cut to create some custom die cut pieces for this layout.

I went crazy with different textures on this page! The Jill Kit comes with some really fun vellum sheets that I used behind the alphas to help them stand out in my title. To attach the vellum, I used some stitching detail that way I didn’t have to worry about hiding adhesive behind the translucent vellum.

I also heat embossed the love label from the Amber | Stamp set and layered it all with a die cut border to create my title.

Journaling wasn’t needed for this layout since I already added it in my Project Life album but I did want to include the date. This little cluster of die cuts, vellum, and stitching, create a fun little vignette in the corner.

I finished off the page with some of my signature ink splatters to tie everything together and fill in any awkward blank areas on the layout. I love how simple the overall look is but that it also includes the fun textured details.
