I'm a HUGE fan of big floral patterns. when I see them in FJ kit, I will get all excited! I knew that I had to feature that beautiful orange floral on my layout. Fussy cutting has been one of my fav technique. Mixing and matching patterns are one of my fav thing to do as well.
So here's my layout featuring October "That One Day" kit...
I really love triangle shape and decided to use them at the top & bottom of my layout. That balanced up the heavy embellished section in the middle. I chose quite a few of graphic looking patterned papers, simply because I love how they looked against the bright florals. To soften the black & white, I used doilies. It gives a delicate & classy look.
Layering is my all time fav! I always love stacking the embellishments together. It's fun & looks awesome!
