"Hello October" Pocket Page Spread | Carol Chastain

Hello Friends! Today I wanted to share with you how I put together a pocket page spread using the October kit. In my Project Life, I like to keep things relatively simple and almost always am looking for ways to incorporate stamping into the spreads. This month's stamps are perfect for documenting the everyday. This particular one acts as an insert to connect September and October in my Album. It tells the story of a lovely evening walk full of leaves and crisp air, and then Snow. Yes, Snow! After all what is a good Fall spread without some snow?

On the left side of the spread I used the days of the week to stamp around the photo of my smoothie. This is an everyday morning ritual for me and I love the fun pop of black the stamping adds. This was the perfect spot to attach that wooden word "daily". Still keeping things simple, I added the little "documented" flair on top of the bottom photo.

For the right side of the spread, I used the white tab from the cut apart sticker sheet to add some journaling on my photo. That black and white striped tab is hiding my journaling about the week. I just love the hint of glam those Thickers give to the "October" 3x4 card.

I know I will be using this stamp set over and over again on my spreads since it is so versitle.

Anyone else loving October?
