Three Cards | Alexes Marie Brown

One of my very favorite things about being an avid paper crafter is giving away handmade cards to people. Seeing their reaction never gets old! 

This set of cards all started with that pretty floral embellishment. I have a thing for florals and I knew I wanted to use it on something special. I was playing around with embellishments and as I put it on top of this pink and white striped paper, I just loved the way they looked together! Adding a black phrase sticker over top, and a splash of gold spray mist was the perfect way to finish it off!

The floral paper in this months kit is really just to die for! Such gorgeous colors used in a surprising and fresh way, I just love it! And that's actually saying a lot for me because I tend to not like orange very often! With this kit, I can't help but love it though!

You guys seriously cannot imagine how excited I was when I first opened the kit and saw those Thickers... How did Jeana know that it was my all time favorite style in the history of Thickers?? It was a match made in scrapbooking heaven! 

I knew I wanted to make three cards, but I could not for the life of me figure out what to do with the last one! I sat and played with embellishment after embellishment... and then repeated daily for about a week! Then it popped into my head! A Felicity Jane Silhouette 3D bow cut file was exactly what this card needed! 

I'm thrilled with how this set of cards turned out and I hope you can use this months kit to make something beautiful!
