9 Today Layout | Sheree Forcier

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing the first layout I've created using the gorgeous Zoey Kit.  I'm absolutely loving the combination of the pretty colours and patterns in this kit so I wanted to create a layout that featured a mix of the papers layered together.

This kit is just so perfect for scrapping fun birthday pages and I realised that I still hadn't scrapped my daughter's birthday photo from last year so I was excited to use this kit to get this memory recorded.  I started my page design by layering my favourite combination of papers at the bottom of my page, then added two of the branding strips to the layers, some machine stitching and the pretty black bow die cut.

Above the layered pieces I positioned my photo along with the title using a mix of one of the chipboard numbers and black puffy alphabet stickers.

The new 'Hooray' stamp set had the perfect Happy Birthday sentiment for this page which I stamped above my title with pink ink, then I created a little cluster of embellishments at the very top of my design.

The acetate 'enjoy' word and a large sequin die cut was also added to the left of my photo.

To finish my layout I added some strip journalling and two more die cut sequins to the bottom left of the layered papers.  I love that the completed page design reminds of a birthday cake!
