Hey Everyone, happy Wednesday! Today for an "off the page" project I wanted to work on the pages of my journaling bible. The stamp set for this month is full of Love and I knew I wanted to highlight the passage of Scripture from Jeremiah 31:3 that says "...I have loved you with an everlasting love..."
Working in the middle margin of my Bible, I cut out that floral from the sticker sheet and after doing light water coloring, I put it next to the verse. I alternated using different stamps with dye and distress inks. As you can probably tell, my Bible is in Spanish and has study notes in the bottom portion. I added the "love" scripted sticker over the notes, but since it is such a delicate sticker it didn't cover too much of the words.
I took advantage of the floral bordered label and used it to write the passage reference I was focusing on.
I added a page marker by using a white clip (sort of like a bobby pin) and slid that through the hole of the tag (also from the cut apart sheet). The little "love" embellishment and black embroidery threads will help it stick out of the top when my Bible is closed, adding some texture. I finished it of by stamping the "love" to help it tie into the rest of the page.
On the right edge I added the "love" tab for another marking detail. There are so many places in the Bible that talk about God's love and I will probably use these stamps over and over again.
