Adorable Handmade Gift Boxes | Sandra DietrichOct 09, 2019
Hello and welcome to the Felicity Jane Blog today. It’s me Sandra and I’m sharing three adorable handmade gift boxes that I made with the pretty fall-ish Rebekah Collection Kit. The gift boxes hold a variety of handmade journaling cards. As a special feature, I used the polka dot tissue paper that comes with all Felicity Jane Kits to wrap the journaling cards. In today’s post I’m sharing project photos and five tips on how to create these adorable gift boxes with the Rebekah Kit.
The gift boxes are great for giving vouchers as a birthday present: an invitation to lunch, spending time together on a sight-seeing tour, taking dancing lessons, etc. Thus, the handmade boxes are the perfect way to make special gifts.
First, I used a cut file to cut the boxes from patterned papers from the Rebekah Paper Pack. Second, I decorated the front of each box with Rebekah Die Cut Shapes.
Third, I cut the tissue paper that comes with your Felicity Jane kits to fit inside the gift boxes. Use the tissue paper to wrap your journaling cards in a stylish way.
Tip 1: The Gold Foil Puffy Title Stickers are perfect to add titles onto your gift boxes:
Tip 2: You can also add Rebekah Rubber Tiny Tags onto the cover as a special detail. Furthermore, you can use doilies to create more texture:
Tip 3: Cut journaling cards to fit inside the gift boxes. And decorate the cover of your boxes with die-cut shapes from Rebekah. In addition, adding some sewing lines onto your journaling cards will make them more interesting:
Tip 4: Attach layers of vellum hearts by sewing them onto the journaling cards with your sewing machine:
Tip 5: Create some plain journaling cards from patterned paper without adding any decoration. The patterned papers from Rebekah are so pretty and they are perfect for making journaling cards:
I hope you like my handmade gift boxes inspiration with the Rebekah Collection Kit. Have fun creating amazing projects with your beautiful kits from Felicity Jane.
