Hi everyone!
It's so fun to be back on the blog today to share another layout using the beautiful Willow kit. The first two layouts I created with the kit were quite girly and flowery so I wanted to really change it up with this page to show just how versatile this kit is.
I had this beach photo I've been wanting to scrap from our family holiday last year so I pulled out all the blue papers and die cuts, the stamp set and the stencil too.
I used some blue watercolor paint on my white background cardstock then added some modelling paste with the triangle stencil. Once that was dry, I layered three of the papers behind my photo, added it to my page, then tucked the striped tag under the bottom right with some die cut flowers peeking out from under the corner. I used foam tape under the photo and one of the flowers to add dimension. The little heart die cut and paper clip were then added to the top right of the photo.
The die cut title and scallop strip were added to the left of the photo and then it was time for a little stamping fun!
I chose a selection of stamps from the Willow Stamp Set that suited the theme of my page perfectly...eight stamps it total. I stamped some of them above the photo...
and the rest of them underneath the photo along with another die cut. I then added my journaling strips on the left side of the page, added some machine stitching and the date in the top right corner and my page was done!
I've filmed a process video for this layout as well...
This page is so different to the other layouts I created with the Willow Kit and I love that you can get a variety of looks from the same kit. I hope I've been able to give you a little inspiration for your next project!
