Happy Thursday! Y'all- This "Heidi" kit is just beyond amazing in color scheme.... and the tassels! They might be my fave, and I just might be making some jewelry to wear with the ones I don't use on a paper project. I love documenting the little things people say and things they love- and this is one of those "right now" kind of layouts for my baby girl.

Speaking of those tiny tassels.... I love the way Leigh Ann stitched hers on the page, but in this instance I wanted a quicker fix and for that I looked to my trusty glue gun. This also helped to "fan" the tassels out and they stay put! So many good pieces in this kit's die cut package and I used all my arrows on this page.(oops!) Just. So. Fun. The sketchy look helps draw the eye from the words and title to the photos.

I used the longer die cut strips to sort of frame out my journaling (all done on the typewriter), adding extra layers and patterns- I even managed to place another tassel down...yay! I  layered all of the photos, journaling, and die cut pieces on the Stripes & Greys patterned paper (cut down to 8 1/2 x 11). Finished it off with some of my fave gold splattering and  a few stapled tid-bits from paper scraps of that same paper -this time the reverse (see right of bottom photo).

Super loving all of the projects being made with the Heidi kit this month and can't wait to make some more myself!
