Anna here with you today with a new layout. Just a simple page, but with an encouraging message for my little one. Because I think that it is the Gabby kit essence, a reminder for all of us of how strong and brave we are.
I started with white cardstock for my background, trimming 1 cm on 3 of the sides. With the solid dark green paper, I framed the page and did machine stitching. Then, I cut a big triangle from the Stripes & Pears paper and glued it on the right side of the page.
At the end of this triangle, in the middle of the page, I placed my photo, layering it with one of the die cuts and a textured piece of vellum, and raising it with foam. In the upper right corner of the picture, I attached a miniwide paper clip and added two epoxy dots from the Tori Collection. In the left corner, I put a flower and a tab from the die cuts. I stamped the word "growing" from the Grace Stamp Set and did machine stitching to the tab.
This beautiful floral die cut was perfect for this spot, matching the pinks and the greens. Floral die cuts are always my favorites. Next to it, one of the Chipboard Bits and two hearts. I love it when the kits include Chipboard Bits because they always add a perfect touch to the project.
I love all the alphabet stickers from Felicity Jane. They always have beautiful fonts and colors. The size is also important. There are big and tiny ones, and this helps to always create a perfect title. The Gabby Alphabet Stickers have this beautiful teal color and fitted my page perfectly. I added a puffy sticker from the Tori kit with the word "remember" to complete my title.
Finally, in the lower-left corner of the page, I created a cluster, to balance the page and echo the big triangle. I cut two little triangles more and placed them overlapping looking to the right. In the space between them, I stamped one of the phrases from the stamp set. I love the mixed fonts. I added a bow-shaped puffy sticker and a tiny pink heart.
