Hi everyone!
It's Sheree here today with a brand new sketch challenge for you! Let's take a look at the design I've put together for April...
This design was totally inspired by the fun cardstock frames in the Abigail Kit this month. I always love an opportunity to include more than one photo and these frames are just perfect for it! Here's is the layout I created with the sketch...
Of course I just couldn't wait to use the super sweet April Abigail Kit for this project. I decided to use one paper for my entire background because I absolutely loved the hearts paper from the paper pack. I then followed the sketch for the placement of my elements across the middle of the page. I chose the striped tag die cut, the yellow cardstock frame, a strip of the green polkadot paper and the “Currently” journaling card. I added stitching to each piece and printed the journaling directly onto the journaling card. I added twine to the tag and fussy cut a whole lot of flowers from the floral paper to scatter around the design. I also positioned a die cut banner under the journaling and tucked a piece of the 6 x 6 tangerine gingham paper under the right side of the journaling for a little more colour. A phrase from the Abigail Stamp Set was stamped onto some cardstock to add to the small die cut tag and I finished off by using the Mari Chipboard Alphabet Stickers for the title.

As always our creative team have been working their magic coming up with some amazing inspiration for you with this sketch and I'm so excited to share them with you! I just love the way they have all put their own spin on the sketch and have used it in so many different ways.
First up, here is Elena Martinelli to share her sweet layout with us...
Elena here! It's Challenge time and Sheree this month has created an amazing sketch, and here's my interpretation! I love to interpret the sketch because I think it is not bad to look at things from a different angle.
I've chosen an A4 size for using the elements vertically and I called my project "Stupid Selfie" because inside the frame I put three black and white funny pics that my son Leo made with my phone.
Naturally I've used an amazing new Abigail collection and its wonderful embellishments, die cuts and epoxy dots.

Next up we have Kerstin Scheidler to share her fun take on the sketch!
Hello FJ Friends! What day is today? It’s Sketch Challenge Time! Our wonderful team mate Sheree has created another awesome Sketch and here is my project featuring the magical and beautiful Abigail kit!
I‘m in love with the colors and patterns of Abigail … and the Die Cut Shapes and Chipboard Stickers and and and...but enough talking! I‘ll show you how I made this layout.
There is an awesome color palette paper included in the Abigail Paper Pack. I have cut out the individual squares, folded in the middle and sewn with the sewing machine in the middle.
I decided to use the amazing Abigail Hearts paper as a base. On it I put an Abigail Chipboard Frame crosswise - before I glued 3D foam on the back.
I arranged the individual color squares in a rainbow shape. Next I decorated with the various Abigail Die Cut Shapes and Chipboard Stickers. In addition, I used something from Mari (Vellum Butterflies) and Aspen (Chipboard Bits and Chipboard Heart Stickers).
I made my title semi-circular with the cute Abigail Puffy Alphabet.
Join the Sketch Challenge! It's always fun to see what develops from a sketch! I look forward to your creations!
Kerstin xx

Valeska Guimaraes is also here with her beautiful version of the sketch in her Note to Self Binder!
Hello FJ friends! Valeska here sharing with you my take on April’s sketch challenge! I really enjoy every sketch created by Sheree, this is not an exception!
I decided to make my sketch on my Note to Self Binder and I was so inspired to use the Abigail Cardstock frames to put my children's photos on it! I loved how it came up!
I also used some journaling cards using one of them to write some thoughts about how my kids grew up so fast! Abigail is so fresh and gives us this spring feeling of caring and growing beautifully!
Flowers and flowers were arranged everywhere! I fussy cut them from the pretty flower paper! Little details with flexible epoxy dots gave the perfect touch of color and dimension, as well as my title with the beautiful puffy alphabet stickers!
To embellish my spread, I used die cuts shapes, chipboard stickers and cardstock tabs.
The Abigail Stamp Set is just perfect with a lot of words and phrases to use together. It is the exact complement to express feelings!
Enjoy your day!

Now we have Karlla Dauer to tell us all about the pretty layout she has created...
I'm in love with Abigail. She brings a lot of delicacy and inspiration. For this sketch, I wanted to highlight the beautiful shade of yellow in the palette. Yellow is my favorite color and I thought it was amazing how it stood out with the pink and green.
I chose to work with the "Gingham & Butterflies" paper on the underside to bring out all these colors. A perfect match with the "Polkadot & Linen" paper.
Between these two papers, I made a detail with the footer strip of the paper. With a seam in the center and leaving the edges loose, the detail was incredible.
This sketch inspired me to use the journaling cards that I love. I loved creating this layout and I hope I have inspired you.

Our final share today is this gorgeous page by Ulrike Dold. Here she is to tell us all about it...
Hi FJ friends!
Finally I’ve used the new and cute striped 7.5 x 9.5 inch Felicity Jane My Memories Notebook. You can find them in the shop as "My Memories Notebooks" in a pack of 2. I was thinking over a smaller format for my scrapbooking because of the expensive and big albums and I think I will use this size more often now. It has a great size and it’s big enough for layouts. To scrap with this format is nearly the same like scrap in 8.5 x 11 Inch.
I made a layout from Barcelona with the gorgeous new Abigail collection. When I saw the colors of this collection I immediately had the colorful Parc Güell in my mind. So I took three pictures and framed them in the pinkish Abigail Cardstock frame with the daisies. Then I cut my background with white essentials cardstock from Felicity Jane in 7.5 x 9.5 inches to glue this page later in my notebook.
I cut the Abigail Paper "Bows & Pinstripes" to 4 inches height and glued it at the bottom of my layout. I love the label paper strip on the bottom. Then I cut the overlapping paper on the right side. I added the orange "Remember" Abigail Cardstock Designer Tab on the right side of the frame. I cut the striped Abigail journaling card into two pieces of 1 and 2 inches wide and added these pieces on the striped paper - with a distance of about 1.5iInches. Then I added the pink frame with the pictures over it.
I fussy cut some of the cute daisies from the Abigail "Floral & Grid" paper and decorated my page with them. I used the cute and small green Abigail Puffy Alphabet to add the title on the right border of the frame. Then I stamped many of the phrases of the Abigail stamp set and the arrow on the right part of the journaling card and added a pinkish mini wide paper clip there. I made some lines under the stamping and added my journaling by hand.
Then I used the cute banner of the Abigail Die Cut Shapes and added it on the top of the frame to the right edge on the top. Finally I added the date with the FJ Roller Date Stamp on the labels from the pinstripe paper on the bottom. I stamped it four times. I love this little highlight. At the end I finished off my page with the cute Abigail Epoxy Dots and the yellow Abigail chipboard heart sticker.
I hope you like my page and you feel inspired.
Ulli
