Archie Layout using the Reagan Kit | Mandy Melville

Hey everyone!

Mandy back with you today to share a layout for our ‘masculine’ theme this week! I decided to pull out what I had left of my ‘Reagan’ kit for this layout, as the colours in the kit were perfect for a masculine themed layout. I used mainly the dark/navy blue, the grey, and black and white, but I also brought in a touch of the tan colour from the kit, just to soften the colour palette a little. I decided on documenting a photo of our little kitten Archie on this layout. I just adore this cute photo of him sleeping!

I started the layout off by creating a photo mat using a bunch of the 3x4 journaling cards from the kit. I also tucked in some scraps of patterned paper that I had left in the kit, as well as a couple of die cuts. This is a great way of using the journaling cards if you don’t do pocket page scrapbooking! And I love how the pops of colour and pattern behind the photo really help to draw you in.

I added a cute little flair button on the right hand side of the photo, which I had left over from the Autumn kit.

Below the photo I added my title using the chipboard alphabet stickers from the Reagan kit. These are one of my all-time favourites, as they’re so versatile! I also added a stamp from the Summer kit that says ‘sleeping in’, which I thought was perfect for this photo!

I finished the layout off with a couple of the layered heart stickers from the Reagan kit, and a few Kate epoxy hearts.

Thanks so much for joining me here today! I hope that you’ve been inspired, and I look forward to sharing some more projects with you next month.
