Hello Friends!
Hooray! It's time for another sketch challenge and I hope you like the design I've created for you this month. Let's take a peek...
When I designed this sketch I wanted to give options to include as many or as few photos as you wanted. The three circles at the top could easily be all photos, then you have the three hanging tags at the bottom which could also become photos or whatever combination you wish!
Here is how I decided to use the sketch...
I created my layout with the beautiful August Kolly Kit. I just love the florals with the pinks and greens touches of marigold in this collection! I followed the sketch design quite closely but I did decide to add a border down each side of the page.
For the floral cluster at the top of the page, I fussy cut lots of different florals from the Kolly “Floral” patterned paper then layered them all together. I created a little oval base for the cluster by hand-cutting the green “Polkadot” paper then added some messy stitching in the middle to create some fun texture.
I used a 1½ inch circle punch for the three green polkadot circles below the floral cluster. I also added messy stitching to the middle of those then added a white brad to the centre of each so I could hang pieces from them with white twine.
I printed my journaling for the first tag, trimmed it down and stitched around the edge before adding the die cut tab and chipboard phrase to the bottom. I also added a fussy cut floral and leaf to the top of the tag.
The square photo in the middle was sized to around 2¼ inches. I added a die cut heart and fussy cut flower with leaf to the top, then added the date tucked under the side.
For the title tag, I used an off-cut of white cardstock, tore the bottom edge and added some of the pretty foil grid washi tape to the top before punching a hole for the twine and adding stitching down the sides. I used the lovely pinkish Essentials Puffy Alphabet Stickers and stitched across the letters for more texture and to help secure them in place. I finished off with another fussy cut floral and leaf.

My favourite thing about sketch challenges is seeing how people choose to interpret the sketch and put their own spin on it. It's so fun! We have some beautiful inspiration from some of our creative team today to share with you.
First up we have Elena Martinelli to tell us about her beautiful project...
Hello FJ friends!
Elena here with you sharing my version of the beautiful August sketch made by Sheree!
To create a double border I sewed together a piece of white cardstock (11.4"x11.4") and pink solid coloured paper (12"x12")
On the top, I sewed another piece of patterned paper fixed with Kolly Foil Grid Washi Tape and decorated with three felt daisies.
I cut three circles with a little white thread and a lot of Kolly Floral Sequin Mix. On the left, below the first circle, I create a little square for a picture. In the middle I put the number eight from the Kolly Number Balloons, and on the right I used Capri Story Tags to contain a title.
Into the base I finished with some pink and cappuccino stars from the Happy YOU Day Stamp Set and a little subtitle in the center under number eight.
Hope you like it and create with us!

Next we have Karlla Dauer with her delightful layout...
I love sketches that allow us to add several photos. For this project, I brought beautiful moments of my son and several stars that I love. Using the stamps to stamp the background of the layout, gives beautiful details.

Our last inspiration today is from Valeska Guimaraes with a little twist on the sketch. I love how she has tipped the design on it's side! Here she is to tell us all about it...
Hi FJ Friends!
It’s the inspired sketch challenge day!! We are ready to share with you our versions of the sketch of the month that Sheree prepared for us. I've already confessed here to you that I love seeing all the versions of my teammates. They are so amazing and so creative!
It couldn't be more different and this sketch brings many inspirations and possibilities. The part I liked the most and needed to reproduce was the strip of paper with the arrangement of flowers in the middle. I fussy cut the flower paper and arranged all of them making a flower cluster in the middle of the strip of the dotted paper which I folded like an accordion.
The circles gave me ideas for photos cut in a circular way, and the rest were settling down little by little. The You Day Metal Die Set with the flags was perfect to cut the color paper strip in the collection in multiple color flags, giving some movement to my layout. I loved the end result!
Hope you enjoy it too and be creative with Kolly! See you next time!
