I'm savoring this last week of the Thanksgiving season, with a bit of the Autumn kit and memories from Fall past. This time we are going to go with the theme and play up all the leaf goodness in this kit.
I started with the all over leaf print patterned paper (my favorite this month) and chose a contrasting salmon tiny dot print to create a background. To create a grounding spot for the photos, I cut strips of light pink cardstock, plaid patterned paper and yellow cardstock and wove them slightly left of center.
One of the 3x4 Autumn cards was used to tell the story. In this case, I used the stamp set from this month to drive the topic. I focused in on the "bucket list" sentiment and stamped it in orange up at the top of the car. A simple list of all of the things we do during the fall season fills up the card.
For a quick and simple title, I used a die cut from the Autumn kit. It was further personalized with some lines of stamped text just underneath. This fills in the blank space and adds a really nice handmade touch.
The final step - the accessories! The cork leaves and rubber charm pieces were used to embellish the layers of patterned paper. The diagonal positioning draws the eye through the design of the layout. A subtitle was also added with the foam alpha in a vertical line as part of the embellished area. It adds text, embellishment and a touch of gold all rolled into one!
