Hi FJ friends,
Today I have a 12x12 page with the gorgeous new Taylor collection for you. I focused on the wonderful patterned papers and the cute sequin flowers and made many little leaves with the cute Taylor patterns.
First I cut two strips (thick and thin) from the Taylor "Dots & Dashes" Paper and glued them on the left side of my FJ Essentials White Cardstock. I decided to use two pictures - one color picture and one in black and white. I glued them with 3 D dots on the page. The left one I placed on the thinner paper strip. I glued the scalloped borders from the Taylor Die Cut Shapes (mustard & gingham) on the left and the right side of the pictures and I love how they match the pictures.
Then I began to cut by hand many little leaves. I cut thin paper strips, folded them in the middle and cut them by hand with scissors. I wanted to do a big circle with many small leaves with different colors and patterns. I used the following Taylor papers for them: Floral Shadow & Gingham, Dots & Dashes, Floral & Stripe and Diagonal & Dotted Stripe. Then I glued them in a circle on the page. I began on the top of my pictures and ended on the bottom of the left picture.
I glued many of the super cute Taylor sequin flowers and leaves between these little leaves and here and there some Die Cut Shapes and Epoxy Stickers. For the die cut shapes I also used 3 D dots to add some dimension. Then I added the title with the pretty gold foil chipboard alphabet from the Taylor collection on the lower part of the circle and a little bit under the leaves.
I used my typewriter to write the place where the pictures were taken on a brown Taylor label sticker and glued it under the left side of the color picture. I used 3 D dots to have the same height like the pictures. Then I added the wonderful epoxy leaf stickers on the top of my pictures and added there more sequins. I also glued the epoxy word stickers "beautiful" under the top of the right picture. I also added the super cute Taylor tag with the stripes and glued the "remember this" sticker on it and a brown epoxy heart. These epoxy stickers are so adorable and I wish I had 5 packs of them. :-D
To finish off my page I splattered gold and black ink across the page and added here and there some epoxy dots from the Taylor epoxy stickers and the Tori epoxy dots on my layout. Then I stamped the date with the FJ Roller Date Stamp under the black and white picture.
