Organisation and scrapbooking: when two beautiful obsessions collide!
I don't know about you, but I don't even mind that I'm just noting down that we're having baked potatoes for tea or the time the girl's swimming lesson starts: planning is just such fun. And it's even more fun when you get your Felicity Jane kit involved...
I love how each month ends up having a different feel when you use a kit to decorate your pages. This month, the vibe is gorgeously golden and autumnal, which suits my daughter's current activities - conker collecting and leaf throwing! - perfectly.
I like to use whatever I have on hand to decorate my planner: these 6x8 page protectors were trimmed down to fit my binder and the journalling cards just needing hole punching before being popped in.
I think it's fun to have a nice layered look, with bits peeking through and pockets to explore.
I made the pocket that holds my journalling from some lovely waxy paper that was originally food packaging! It went through my sewing machine beautifully and adds more fun texture.
If you enjoy using your kit in your planning, we'd love to see some photos of your pages: be sure to use the Felicity Jane hashtag [ #felicityjane ] on Instagram, so we can ooh and aah!
