Autumn Pocket Page | Ulrike Dold
Hi FJ friends,
Ulli here with an Autumn Pocket Page featuring the gorgeous new Taylor collection, the Gabby collection and some bits & pieces from previous FJ collections. I am still in 2019 in my pocket page album, but this one is the last spread in it. The Christmas time is always in my December albums. I had so much fun while creating and love the fallish look and colors in it.
First I searched for four pictures of a pumpkin exhibition in Germany, which we visit every year with our kids. Its always a wonderful event in the autumn season for us. I found three small pictures and one in black and white with the size 4x6 inches. Then I searched for matching journaling cards and decided to use the Autumn card from the new Taylor collection and two others: the striped card in orange and white, and the swiss dot card in teal from the previous Gabby collection. They all are matching perfectly to my colorful pictures. I cut two white cards from Essentials cardstock to 3x4 inches and one to 4x6 inches and put them in the empty pockets.
I began to decorate the big black and white picture on the left page with the brown scalloped die cut, some labels and tags and with the title. I glued it on the picture with the wonderful small Gabby Puffy Alphabet Stickers. They are just perfect for small titles in pocket pages. I also used the FJ Date Roller Stamp to stamp the date on a pinkish label from the Taylor Essentials Label Stickers.
Under this picture I used the 4x6 inch card. I glued the striped card on the right side and the picture with the pumpkin unicorn with a Taylor tag under it on the left side. I also used one of these super cute pinkish mini wide paper clips there. I glued the yellow bow from the Taylor die cuts on the striped card, too.
Then I began to decorate the right part of the pocket page. I glued one picture on the top of the pocket pages. I used sticky double glue tape for this. I used a mustard Taylor die cut label and the "Remember This" epoxy sticker to decorate this part of my pocket page spread. I added the super sweet Taylor Die Cut with the leaves and the acorns under the picture. I wrote the place from the exhibition on a Taylor Essentials Label Sticker and used 3 D dots to add it on the picture too.
On the lower part of this pocket I glued a sweet picture of me and my son on the white 3x4 inch card and decorated it with the pink scalloped die cut from the Taylor collection, a little tag in blush, the "Cozy" circle die cut and the baby blue heart. I also used a word sticker from the Taylor Epoxy Stickers there and added it on the Taylor die cut tab.
I was going through my FJ stuff and found the super cute Wood Mini Leaf & Pumpkin Shapes from last year's Harper collection and they were just perfect for this fall pocket page. I glued them on the pocket page with glue dots and gave the striped journaling card with the yellow bow a playful look. I also used the super cute floral Taylor sequin mix there and some of the Taylor epoxy dots. On the top of the pocket it looks so adorable and special.
Then I glued the teal die cut shape from the Gabby collection on the picture with the unicorn and a flower from the Taylor die cut shapes on the black and white picture on the top.
Here you can see the full pages again.
This pocket page spread came together so easily and I really love the mix of the Taylor with the Gabby collection and the cute Harper wood veneers. I hope I could inspire you to make your own fallish pocket page with the gorgeous Felicity Jane autumn collections. They are just perfect in their wonderful fallish colors! Have fun and I cant wait to see your projects.
Thank you for stopping by today!
xx Ulli
