Awesome Flower layout using my stash kit | Anne Keller

Hello FJ friends! How's your summer going? I'm back with another stash kit layout. This week the topic is all about flowers and I used a photo of beautiful cherry blossoms.

My layout was inspired by one from Suse Fish, where she used a lot of vellum behind her journaling. I started with a vellum pocket. It's perfect to collect the photo and some ephemera or your journaling. I layered some pieces of patterened paper and cardstock behind it. I always love to use the scallop branding strip on the cardstock as a little extra detail.

For my journaling I used a card from the beautiful Sophie paper pack. It has just the little heart on the bottom but I love this beautiful detail. Again I put together the title with different things: a wood veneer, a foam sticker, some alphas and a printed chipboard circle. I layered a pink label under the title, so it's a little bit more eye-catching.

At the end I added some splatters and I glued down a little ripped vellum on the top and stamped the date on it. Nothing big but it helps to round up the layout.

Thanks for visiting. I hope I could inspire you to make your own kit and finally use what you have. See you next month with two more layouts using my stash kit.
