Awesome Life Layout | Anne Keller

Hello there,

Anne here with another layout made with the gorgeous Henley kit.

This time I started with a prepared cardstock. A few weeks ago I played around with some black acrylic paint and stamped some dots on a page. I just used a simple round pencil, dipped it into the paint and stamped it on the cardstock. Super-easy. It was the perfect background for my layout.

Then I printed a black and white photo of my daughter modeling some clay. I layered some of the lovely papers from Henley and a shaker pocket behind the photo. The shaker pocket is another super-easy element on this page. I took the packaging of the journaling cards, filled it with the sequins from the kit and closed it with a washi stripe. For more texture I ruffled all the edges of the papers and used a border punch for more variety.

I used one of the journaling cards as the place to tell my story. I took this picture on a family trip and for me it was the best day of the whole year. We had so much fun.

Now the title: a child playing in the mud and gold alphas aren't the best combination, so I decided to use some die cuts as my title. 'awesome life' was perfect and I love it together with the wooden bow.

I decorated the background with some of the epoxy stickers. I love their colors. Because there was an empty place at the bottom I ripped the cardstock there a little bit and glued a part of a border strip behind it. I framed it to make it pop.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope I could inspire you to start a new project with Henley today.
