Baby Layout with Rainbows | Ulrike Dold

Hi FJ friends,

Here is Ulli and I have a cute baby layout with rainbows for you. I’ve made it with the gorgeous new Grace collection! I love the wonderful colors so much and the stamp set and the embellishments are so wonderful! I decided to make a baby layout because I love the soft pastel colors. And because of the rainbow paper in the kit and the rainbow die cuts I had the idea to use my brand new rainbow metal die with a little heart.

I made a 12x12 page and used the fantastic Felicity Jane Essentials White Cardstock for it. First I used the Rainbow Metal Die and made some rainbows with the following FJ Grace papers: Hearts & Labels, Tiny Spots & Flowers and Stars & Diamonds. Then I cut the paper strip from the Boxes & Rows paper with the blush gingham and glued it on the top of my page. I also cut a bigger one from the side with the rows and glued it on the bottom of my layout. Then I added one of the amazing designer tabs from the Grace collection in mint on the right side of my picture and glued the photo on may page. I decorated the picture with the cute rainbow dot die cut and the Blessed puffy sticker. Then I added three rainbows on my page: one on the left bottom of my picture and the other two I added on the right side above. They have three stripes and I love the soft look.

I made a bow from the amazing Essentials Cotton Ribbon in the color mango and glued it on the yellow stripe of the rainbow on the bottom of my picture. I added the stamps "This is what ... looks like" and "today" above my picture and I love the arrow with the line, which I stamped under it. It matches perfect to the cute newborn photo of our son some hours after birth.

I added the blue little label and the yellow rose from the Grace die cut shapes on my picture and used 3 D glue dots to add some dimension. I also added a fussy cut flower from the Florals & Lines paper and added the adorable stitched heart puffy sticker from the Grace kit and the word memories from the cute Grace Chipboard Bits on and under the little blue label. I also added two hearts in yellow and mint on the picture which I had over from the rainbows, which I’ve made with the metal dies.

Then I glued three tags in different heights on the paper strip on the bottom of the page. I cut the overlapping paper with a scissors, I used the super cute lined and dotted tag from the Grace Die Cut Shapes and the blue gingham tag from the Sarah Die Cut Shapes. Its the same blue like the blue little label from the Grace collection. Then I glued with the cute mint green Grace Puffy Alphabet and with the chipboard bits the phrase "this is everything" on the dotted tag. I also decorated it with a heart from the chipboard bits and a yellow Bailey Epoxy heart.

Then I wrote the date and my journaling by hand on one of the mint green rainbow stripes besides.

To finish off my page a added some of the die cut stars from the Grace collection with 3 D dots and some Henley Epoxy Dots and Bailey Epoxy Hearts here and there. I also splattered some black ink across my page and stamped some of the cute hearts from the Grace Stamp set under and above my picture and on the paper strip on the top of the page.
