Bailey 3x4 Mini Album | Tina Stepanova

Tina here on the blog with you today to share a new mini album I created using the Bailey Kit. This collection is so sweet and beautiful that first of all I wanted to make a project about my little daughter with funny photos of her in my dresses.

I started by working on an album cover and its binding using one of the many video tutorials on YouTube. For the cover I chose my favorite light blue and white strip pattern paper from the kit. And as the base for the pages I used journaling cards and 3x4 photos so it was really quick and easy to put the album together.

The sweet sequin mix is so wonderful I just couldn't not use it my project. So I grabbed a heart shaped acrylic shaker from my stash, adhered a light pink paper on the back and filled it with the sequin mix. To make the shaker more visible on a yellow gingham card I cut a circle in the center of the card and backed it with a piece of white cardstock.

I wanted to keep the pages clean and simple, so I just added a few embellishments here and there.

In order for the spreads not to look all the same I decided to add a flip up card on this one. First I trimmed a little bit the edges of the white card with a heart and adhered it on top of the 3x4 piece of the yellow striped pattern paper. And after that I stamped the sentiment "this life with you" under the word "love".

For this spread I simply stamped the "good vibes only" from the Elizabeth Kit on a piece of white cardstock, matted it with a piece of mint paper and added the sentiment to the beautiful journaling card with colored hearts.

And on the last spread I also used some die cut shapes and the stamp set from the Bailey Kit, added two felt hearts representing me and my daughter and made a small bow using the new coconut cotton ribbon. I must say I only wish I could tie such beautiful bows you see when opening the Felicity Jane parcels, so I simply made it using glue dots the same way you would make a paper bow.
