I want to share my first layout with Brie today. I love the soft colors of this kit and the chipboards circles are such a great embellishment. So versatile.

The design of my page is very simple. Just one horizontal and one vertical 3x4 card or photo. I put some paper layers behind my photo and a folded piece of the packaging. I often use the tissue paper as a part of my layering. It's so beautiful and fits perfectly.

The die cut 'beautiful day' was perfect as my title, but it was too big. I cut it into two pieces and clustered it with another die cut and a chipboard circle on some banners - one of the fabric banners and one I made with some paper.

I always print my journaling on vellum. That helps to create a fresh and light layout and you can layer something behind it. For this page I used a 3x4 cardstock card and punched a border. With this it looks a little bit like a note pad paper. The paper clip from the Brooke crepe ribbon holds the journaling vellum. I ripped the white card at one side and put a part of a border strip behind it. For the dots I just used a black pen and drew them on the edges by hand. Easy-peasy, but a nice little eye-catcher.
