Hi crafters! How are you today?
I’m back on the blog today! And I'll be creating with the beautiful Mari Collection. One of my favorite products of this collection are the Journaling Cards. So I wanted to do something special with them… Here is my idea: a lovely mini album! We are going to use journaling cards as the pages of the mini album…YAY!
Let's get started! First thing to do is to prepare the structure. I cut three pieces of cardboard of: 1- 3 1/8” w x 4 1/8” h (two pieces), 2- 2 3/4” w x 4 1/8” h (one piece). To cover them I used two papers from the paper pack. I also added a pink ribbon to make the mini album closure.
For my cover I combined some die cut shapes, one vellum butterfly and one word from the clear stamp set… isn’t it lovely? It’s a small and colorful mini album!
For the interior, I prepared ten diagonal envelopes but before closing them, I stitched them to the spine with white and gold baker twine.
Once the structure is ready… it’s time to play with our journaling cards, photos and all the embellishments! Journaling cards are great for this project. We just have to stick our photos to all of them and write memories.
To make these journaling cards more colorful and funny pages, I added chipboard and die cut shapes, some pink thread and the lovely tabs from the Mari Collection.
I wrote some sentiments and use the clear stamp phrases to document all these moments. My goddaughter is a wonderful little woman and I love her with all my heart… she makes me so happy…
I hope you like this idea and you find it really inspiring!
Have a great weekend!

This mini-album is absolutely stunning! I have a brand new granddaughter, who was born last week. This is a perfect idea for a modern-day Grandma’s Brag Book! Your goddaughter is beautiful as is your work. Thank you for sharing!
So beautiful! I love it!!
Como siempre, divinisimo este Mini, Celes!
