Hi everyone! I'm back on the blog today to share another layout that I created using the lovely Jane kit.
II chose the pretty minty blue striped paper for my background and decided to cut some of the gorgeous flowers from the floral paper to use as my main embellishments.
Since I had already used the little white doily from my kit on a previous layout, I grabbed another one from my stash to slip in behind my photos. Then I cut fishtails into a length of the spotty branding strip from the striped paper to layer along the bottom of the photos and stitched down the middle of the piece with my sewing machine.
The fussy cut florals were tucked under the outer edges of the photos and adhered into place with foam tape to add a little dimension.
Above the photos I added a cute little bird and pink heart from the cut apart sheet along with the 'beautiful' wood shape for my title. I then adhered the string of hearts wood shape underneath the photos too.
I added some black ink splatters before adhering the printed journaling strips into place. I then decided to add a little more texture by machine stitching along each strip. The date was stamped with black ink and my page was done!
I've created a process video for this layout too.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this gorgeous kit! I hope you've enjoyed seeing how I put this page together. Thanks for joining me!
