Hi everyone!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend? I’m starting off the week here on the blog with a birthday themed pocket page spread that features the super gorgeous Annie Kit but also includes a whole bunch of bits and pieces from five other kits as well. I love diving into my FJ stash to see what I can mix in with the latest kits!
I gathered my supplies together starting off with four of the Annie Journaling Cards that would tie in with my photos.
Then I found die cuts, stickers and embellishments from the Annie, Tori, Capri, June Ginny and Bailey kits that I thought would work with my spread and set to work.
At the top of the first page in my project is one of my favourite cards from the Annie Kit. I absolutely love the bold stripes of colour and the fun phrase! I adhered one matching coloured sequin to each stripe, arranging them to be spread out around the card.
For the photo, I used a yellow label vertically and folded it over to create a tab in the top left corner. I added Confetti puffy numbers, then attached a tiny tag with twine using a stapler at the bottom of the tab.
For the photo at the bottom left of the page, I added the “loving this” Capri Puffy Sticker and a chipboard heart from the June Bits & Pieces pack.
Journaling was printed onto Essentials White Cardstock, then I adhered it to the centre of the mint grid card. I added stitching and a Tori puffy bow sticker at the top to finish it off.
The card at the top left of the second page was so fun to create! I used tissue paper and my sewing machine to create a little shaker packet and secured some Annie sequins inside. It was attached to the card using staples, then I created a little cluster using die cuts, a Ginny Layered Star and some more sequins. I also added a midi clip to the to right.
The photo to the right simply has a die cut cut and another June chipboard heart.
At the bottom of the second page, the word “yum” was added to a Bailey Felt Heart using Confetti puffy alphabet stickers and stapled to the center of the photo.
For the last bit of journaling I decided to create a list of things from the day. I printed the journaling onto Essentials White Cardstock, added a scalloped washi strip across the top. I rounded the two bottom corners and stitched around the edge before adhering it to the journaling card. I then used the numbers from the Confetti Puffy Alphabet Stickers down the left side.

I love how colourful and fun this spread turned out and that I was able to use some of older Felicity Jane goodies too.
