Happy November Friends!
It’s Sheree here with a hybrid layout to share with you featuring the fun new Boo Mini Digital Kit! It’s the perfect collection for documenting your Halloween memories and more!
The papers and ephemera included in the mini digital kit are the cutest! I chose two of the papers and a selection of the ephemera pieces and printed them out with my computer and printer ready to use.
One of the best things about using a digital kit is that you can resize images and papers to suit your project…and you can print them out as many times as you like!
I started with an 8.5” x 11” piece of white cardstock for the background and stitched a black border with my sewing machine. In the center I added a piece of Boo Mini Paper 3, added more stitching, then adhered my photo into place. After using my scissors to cut out the ephemera pieces I was able to start decorating!
As I added the pieces into position I adhered some flat on the page but used foam adhesive behind others to add dimension and interest. Above my photo is the “halloween” label which I had slightly enlarged.
To the top left of the photo is the cute “Boo” pennant and two bats in different sizes.
To the right of the photo is the “trick or treat” sign and another larger bat.
I created a little cluster at the bottom left of the photo with three pumpkins and the little ghost. I also cut the tiny “boo” flag from the cake ephemera piece and added it above the ghost’s head.
Two more pumpkins were adhered to the bottom right of the photo.
I printed out some journaling and positioned it under the photo then stitched down the sides before adding a stamped label tucked under the bottom edge.
To finish the layout I backed it with a 12 x 12 striped paper from the Taylor Kit.
This layout was so much fun to put together! Have you tried hybrid scrapbooking before? I hope I’ve inspired you to try using a digital kit for your next project. They are so versatile and the possibilities are endless!
