Hey everyone,
Anne here on the blog today. What do you think first when you hear 'fall'? One of my first thoughts is 'more time inside'. And I love to use this time for reading. Snuggling up in a warm blanket, with some crispy goodies to eat and a nice book while I hear it rain outside. So my idea for my first fall project with the fabulous new Rebekah kit was to create some bookmarks. I searched online for origami step by steps and some other tutorials and found some lovely ideas. Have a look!
The first bookmark is folded. You just need 4 stripes of paper (1cmx29cm). Glue two of the stripes together rectangular. And the other two under them. Then you can braid the paperstrips to a bookmark. I stamped a little phrase on it and decorated it with a die cut and a little star.
The next is an origami heart. I used one of the 6x6 papers and embellished it with a vellum heart, an alpha and a die cut. It's easy and fun.
There are also a lot of instructions for origami bookmarks online. Really easy. I used embossed vellum as my base and added a stamped label and a die cut flower.
A very easy way to create a bookmark is with a tag as your base. I used the tag metal die set to cut it out and stamped a phrase on the tag. I made a tassel and added it to my tag. Finished.
The last bookmark idea is a big binder clip. I added one die cut, a long ribbon and a puffy alpha. It's just that easy.
I hope I could inspire you. Have a great day and share your projects with us #felicityjane.
