Brie Butterflies Layout | Leigh Ann Odynski

Hello fellow crafters! Leigh here, with a layout that focuses on our stamping feature for this week. I love the butterflies in the Brie Kit stamp set, and chose to highlight them on this layout. The colors on this page were coordinated with the Brie Kit.

The Felicity Jane stamps always stamp so cleanly, and I love to layer them under other textures, like the die cuts in each kit. I stamped the butterflies diagonally from the top left to bottom right of the layout, and then splattered on some watered down ink around them. I kept the ink color in each cluster area to one color, using three different colors in total (pink, yellow, and aqua).

Next, you can layer the Brie Layering Butterflies around the coordinating stamped butterflies, and even layer some of the vellum butterflies over a stamped image. I love the stitching on the Brie butterflies, as it adds more texture.

The title was stamped in a cool aqua color to reinforce the theme of the page, using the Felicity Jane Bold Alphabet Stamp Set. The embroidery floss on the circle beneath the photo also matches the same cool aqua color, and it stands out from the colors of FJ paper in that area. The photo was placed to line up with the stamped butterflies on the background.

At an angle, you can see the wings are bent to stand up off the page, and the layers are easier to see also. Have you tried stamping with the butterflies from the Brie Kit yet? I would love to see you share your creations over at the Felicity Jane Facebook group and on Instagram as well!

Thank you for visiting today, Leigh
