Brie Planner Spread | Suse Fish

Hi friends! Suse back with you today for some more fun ideas for ways to play with your kits. As many of you know, we now live on a beautiful little island in between Britain and Ireland; I’m so lucky that I get to walk on the beach every day and enjoy the stunning scenery all around me. I wanted to make a memory planner spread to document my feelings about moving here and how I’ve fallen in love with the island's beauty.

I enjoy working with the FJ planner inserts, because they provide a nice easy grid to work with. As this sort of project isn’t so much about artistic expression as getting my feelings down, it’s lovely to have that side of things taken care of.

I enjoyed layering up items from my Brie kit for this spread and never shy away from a little dimension - in fact, I love how tactile items like these puffy stickers make my final pages.

It’s surprising quite how many photos you can fit into one spread, especially if you don’t mind trimming them down. These pages are also a wonderful place to put your stamp sets to good use, picking the phrases and imagery that capture the mood you’re going for.

One of my favourite tricks when working in my planner is to add bits of packaging and little pockets to tuck journalling into. I also adore the look of longer stories typewritten onto vellum.

I do hope you feel inspired to use your planner in a creative way to document your life right now or maybe a special holiday you’ve taken recently. Be sure to tag us on Instagram so we can enjoy your work too!
