Cards with the Sarah Kit | Mandy Melville

Hello everyone!

Mandy here with you today to share some cards that I created using the gorgeous 'Sarah' kit! I absolutely love the pretty colour combinations in this collection, and as always there are so many beautiful embellishments! It was so easy to whip up these cards using the kit, and now I'm prepared with some lovely cards to give to my family and friends!

For my first card, I started by trimming the blue gingham patterned paper down to size and covering the front of the card with it. I then matted the thank you card that I received with this kit using the light pink solid paper, and I adhered it to the centre of the card using foam tape for added dimension.

Next I fussy cut one of the floral clusters out of the floral patterned paper in the kit, and I adhered that on the bottom right hand corner of the card. I finished it off by adding the die cut piece that says 'good times', as well as a few epoxy dot stickers, and a yellow photo corner. I love how this turned out!

For my next card, I made use of the slip of paper in the front of the paper pack that gives you a glimpse of all the patterned papers in the collection. I simply trimmed it down to fit the size of the card! It made for a very quick, but very effective background for my card!

I then stamped the word 'happy' onto a piece of white card using the Sarah stamp set, and I fussy cut it out to add to my card. (If fussy cutting isn't your thing though, there is a matching a die set available in the shop, which would make it even easier!) I then used the 'Hooray' stamp set to stamp the word 'birthday' onto a label, and I tucked this underneath the 'happy' word. I added a die cut heart to the right of the label, and then I finished the card off with a few mini wood hearts. I love all of the pretty patterns and colours on this card!

For my final card, I used both the 'type' patterned paper, and the blue 'foliage' paper to cover the front of the card. I used the Sarah stamp set again on this card, this time stamping the phrase 'There are so many beautiful reasons to smile'. I stamped it onto some white card, and then cut it out and adhered it on the left hand side of the card using foam tape.

I couldn't resist fussy cutting another floral cluster to use on this card, and I added that to the right of the stamped sentiment. Lastly I added a handmade tag to the cluster, which I tucked in behind the other two elements.
